Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is a decentralized domain name system built on the Ethereum blockchain. Each domain name registered with ENS is linked to the owner’s address on the blockchain and is a non-replaceable token (NFT). This means you have full control over your domain and its rights.
There is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) as well as an ENS management token. You must use the Ethereum cryptocurrency (ETH) to register your domain and pay for its rent.
The project has already given out a drop to domain holders, so a second such drop is unlikely. But based on the criteria from the Celestia project, we realize that it will not be superfluous to register a domain. Especially now, with the low gas prices on the Ethereum network.
Domain registration guide
- Go to the site, join the wallet and look for an unoccupied domain name. Click on it, for further registration:
- Next, choose the term to which we will register the domain, click Next – Begin – Open Wallet and confirm the transaction:
- Wait 60 seconds, click Finish – Open Wallet and confirm the transaction:
Conclusion
In some cases, the domain can be used instead of the wallet address, which simplifies the process of sending assets. Also, as practice shows, holding an ENS name can be a criterion when giving out drops from other projects.

Highlights
- We register ENS domain cheaply, as long as low gas prices allow it.
- Claim to get our address under the criteria for the distribution of drops from other projects.
